NURS 6916 Practice in Critical Care Nursing I

Application of the nursing process with a humanistic approach during the care of critically ill clients, considering cultural diversity, evidence-based practice, and ethical/legal aspects. Determine the immediate nursing care for the stabilization of cardiac, respiratory, renal and neurological functions in critical situations. Integration of treatment modalities, including pharmacology to treat health disorders. Requires sixty (60) hours of practice in critical care clinical settings.
