Introduction to the concepts of the biology of viruses of bacteria, plants and animals, including morphological, genetic and epidemiological aspects. Emphasis on the principles of molecular biology that regulate the cycle of viral infection, the cellular metabolism and the cellular and systemic defense mechanisms.
