SPTH 2110 Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies
Analysis of the communication disorders associated with cleft palate and other craniofacial anomalies. Discussion of the different approaches to therapeutic intervention in speech and language with children and adolescents with such diagnoses. Emphasis on the procedures of communication evaluation in infants, pre-school and school age children. Requires observations of therapy of a child with this diagnosis.
