WSCN 6911 Practicum in Wound and Skin Care I

Application of the principles of wound and skin care in various populations with pressure, vascular and arterial ulcers. Application of estimation skills, diagnosis, patient management, education and care administration through demonstration. Use of ethical and legal principles during patient and family intervention, as well as implications for practice. Integration of evidence-based practice during wound and skin care. The student will present all required documents as requested by the practice center. Requires 90 hours of practice.
