BADM 6630 Public Health and Epidemiology
Study of the concepts and disciplines that support public health with emphasis on epidemiological principles. Introduction to sciences and policies related to prevention, government responsibilities, biostatistics as an analysis tool, environmental health, social determinants of health, and its promotion. Public health models and their basis in prevention versus health models based on clinical care will be discussed.
