CPSM 5030 PRACTICE IN MENTAL HEALTH CARE
Application of theoretical models in adult and adolescent mental health care. Practice therapeutic communication skills during the intervention. Analysis of intervention modalities to be used with mental health patients. Application of primary response techniques in crisis situations to promote patient and staff safety and protection. Requires a total of 90 hours of practice.
