WSCN 5020 Management and Administration of Treatment: Biophysiological and Biophysical Agents
Application of knowledge of wound types, costs, and patient's condition to identify the most appropriate treatment. Distinguish between cellular and acellular products for the treatment of wounds. Classify the different tropical products for the management of skin lesions according to categories. Contrast different wound therapies such as negative pressure, hyperbaric chamber, electrical stimulation, ultraviolet light and ultrasound. Use the principles of infection control. Use of findings related to evidence-based practice.
