WSCN 6912 Practicum in Wound and Skin Care II
Application of the principles of wound and skin care in diverse populations with surgical, dermatological, neuropathic, and chemical wounds, as well as by trauma, burns, radiation, and other wounds. Application of estimation skills, diagnosis, patient management, education and care administration through demonstration. Use of ethical and legal principles during intervention. Integration of evidence-based practice during wound and skin care. The student will present all required documents as requested by the practice center. Requires 90 hours of practice.
