Bachelor of Science in Nursing RN to BSN
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) program aims to prepare nurses with an associate's degree as competent generalist nursing professionals capable of providing safe, ethical, client-centered, and evidence-based care that reflects critical thinking and interprofessional collaboration. The program emphasizes the development of clinical reasoning skills, information management, leadership, and ethical decision-making to improve the health and well-being of individuals, families, communities, and populations in a variety of settings.
The Metropolitan Campus is authorized to offer this program through distance learning in English and Spanish. This program requires 105 hours of supervised in-person practice.

For the development of this professional, diverse and flexible study modalities are offered. This facilitates mobility from the associate's degree to the bachelor's degree level.

Admission Requirements

Possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing with a minimum of 65 credits and 550 practice hours from an accredited institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 from your home country.

Provide evidence of a current permanent RN license in Puerto Rico, the U.S., or a jurisdiction that is a member of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN).

Demonstrate at least one year of clinical experience in a hospital setting.

Complete 24 general education credits equivalent to those established for the associate degree in nursing by the institution:
