EDUC 691A Internship in Interdisciplinary Special Education

Integration of the knowledge and skills acquired through a supervised clinical experience in inclusive environments with infants, preschool children and students at the elementary, junior and high school levels. Students will analyze the importance of collaboration centered on the family, the placement in appropriate and inclusive environments and the empowerment of the family to make decisions. Two hundred twenty-five (225) hours at the rate of 15 hours weekly in a center selected by the University professor are required. The center should actively promote the inclusion of children with disabilities.
