MATH 7110 Teaching and Learning Mathematics
Analysis of teaching models and learning styles of mathematics for different educational levels. It includes theories of neuropsychology, pedagogy and mathematical heuristic methods, such as the solution of verbal problems, mathematics as experimental science and constructivism applied to mathematics. Analysis of the ethical and democratic aspects of the teacher-student relationship. Models are developed for teaching and learning mathematics.
