MATH 7310 Modern Geometries
Analysis and discussion of modern developments in the area of geometry. Emphasis on the evaluation and comparison of axiomatizations of classical geometry and non-Euclidean geometries. Research of geometric objects such as polygons, polyhedra, polytopes, graphs and their applications, such as code theory, optimization, computer graphics and physics. It includes the practice and evaluation of systems programmed for geometry.
