CPTR 211 Anatomy, Kinesiology and Biomechanics and Physiology of Exercise
Learn about the human body, analyze and observe the mechanics of movement. Study the skeletal, muscular and nervous systems and how they influence the movements of joints and lever systems. Study the physiological changes, responses and adaptations that occur in the human body as a result of physical activity. Learn the concepts of: Biochemistry of muscle contraction, Energy Production Systems, cardiovascular system and its role in sports performance as applied to different populations. Requires 30 hours of laboratory.
