EDUC 3267 Curriculum, Teaching, and Assessment of Natural Sciences in the Primary Grades (PK-4)
Analysis of standards-based content in the Natural Science curriculum from pre-kindergarten through fourth grade. Discussion of teaching methods, strategies, and techniques with an emphasis on developmentally appropriate practices that take into account individual differences. Includes needs assessment, planning, implementation of teaching strategies, selection and design of materials, and integration of technology.
