Minor in Modeling and Simulation
The minor in Modeling and Simulation seeks to equip students and the future workforce with greater skills to implement and analyze simulation models; understand aspects of simulation such as model verification and validation, simulation software, and experimental analysis, allowing them to understand and utilize the latest technology for professional and scientific development.
It provides students with computational modeling and simulation tools so they can establish connections between theory and actual facts.
Available to students of Computer Science, Biology, Biotechnology, Natural Sciences, Industrial Chemistry, Computer Engineering, among others.
The Bayamón Campus is authorized to offer this minor.
Modeling and Simulation Minor Requirements - 19 to 21 credits
Selected courses - 7 to 9 credits
Concentration minor courses - 12 credits
Note: The special topics course COMP 397_ must be related to Modeling and Simulation.
