Admission to the Technical and Vocational Certificate Program

Students applying for admission to the Technical Certificate Program at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico must:

  1. Submit proof of graduation from an accredited high school or its equivalent. Evidence of the most recent degree conferred from an institution duly authorized by the Board of Postsecondary Institutions may be considered if the student does not have high school evidence available.
  2. Submit the immunization certificate (PVAC-3) if under 21 years of age.
  3. Present a valid document proving their identity. A valid document refers to, but is not limited to, a passport, driver's license or learner's permit, valid voter registration card, national identification document, virtual or digital identification, or provisional means of identification, among others.
  4. Meet any specific requirements established for admission to the academic program of interest at the campus to which you are applying.

Note: For programs that require a practice or internship, the academic unit may require that students submit additional document to meet the regulations of the relevant agencies.
