Introduction to the fundamental concepts of agricultural biotechnology as a basis for improving the genetic aspects and characteristics of organisms and the derivatives obtained from said organisms. Discussion of techniques for the improvement of transgenic crops and animal genetics. Comparison of conventional techniques and modern genetic engineering techniques. It requires 30 hours of lecture and 15 hours of laboratory.
