MATH 3250 Calculus III

Study of the vectors in plane and in space. Cylindrical and spherical coordinates. The calculus of functions of several independent variables: limit, continuity, partial differentiation, chain rule gradient, directional differentiation, tangents planes and normal lines. Determination of extreme values of a two variable function. Multiple integration of rectangular, cylindrical and spherical coordinates. Surface area and volume. Study of integration in vectorial campus: line integrals, divergence theorem and the Green and Stokes theorems.
