MICR 4010 Microbial Ecology

Study of the biodiversity, structure and the dynamics of the microbial populations. Analysis of the interactions of microorganisms with plants, animales and other microorganisms. Discussion of the biogeochemical cycles with emphasis on the decomposition of organic matter. Requires 30 hours of lecture and 45 hours of lab.
