Evaluation of the impact and importance of human rights in the traditions of western and eastern countries. Review of the importance of human rights in the contemporary world. Discussion of the ideological and cultural perspectives, sources of violations, the role of the United Nations and national governments, the human rights of women and children and the influence of nongovernmental organizations in international protection of human rights.
