COMP 2110 Introduction to Computer Science
Discussion of computer science concepts. Description, identification, and explanation of the components, architectures, and processes involved in the operation of computers, networks, and systems. Exploration of the subdisciplines within computer science. Discussion of the importance of continuing professional development and awareness of social, ethical-legal, professional, and security issues and responsibilities in the discipline.
