Study of Boolean algebra theorems and postulates. Simplification of logic gatesusing minimization techniques. Combinational circuits design including arithmetic circuits and regular structures, sequential circuit design including machines of finite state. Study of microprocessors functional blocks. Logic circuit design using the computer. Requires 45 hours of lecture and 30 hours of lab.
