Admission requirements
The admission requirements for the Education Specialist Certificate in Curriculum and Teaching are the same as the admission requirements for the Doctoral Program in Education for the Curriculum and Teaching specialty.
Students must apply to be admitted to the Educational Specialist Certificate in Curriculum and Teaching.
The acceptance of said application and admission to the Educational Specialist Certificate in Curriculum and Teaching, and its subsequent obtaining, will not prevent the student from being able to request to continue his studies in the Doctoral Program in Education and complete it with all his remaining requirements following current regulations.
Graduation requirements
Students must meet the following requirements:

Pass all required courses with a minimum of “B”.

Pass the comprehensive exam in all its parts (written and oral), for which you will have a maximum of 3 opportunities.
Students of the Education Specialist Certificate in Curriculum and Teaching will have up to eight years to complete the established requirements.
Students in the Doctoral Program in Education (Ed. D.) may apply for the Education Specialist Certificate, if they meet its requirements, if for any reason they are unable to fulfil the requirements of the Ed. D.
