NURS 6112 Critical Care Nursing II

Analysis of biophysiopathological concepts of complex multisystemic problems: trauma, burns and collapse. Evaluation of endocrine, nutritional, gastrointestinal, hematological and sleep disorders and their effects on the psychosocial area. Integration of the nursing process and humanistic care in the critically ill client, taking into account cultural diversity and evidence-based practice. Discussion of treatment modalities, including pharmacology and pain management to treat health disorders. Analysis of research findings, administration and management of customer care in critical care settings.
