NURS 6920 Practice in Maternal and Child Nursing I: Maternal-Neonatal

Advanced practice in maternal-neonatal care. Application of the skills of the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis of nursing, planning, implementation and evaluation of therapeutic interventions. Use of the ethical and legal aspects of critical thought, problem solving, communication skills, the cultural diversity and the practice based on evidence during the implementation. Requires sixty (60) hours of clinical practice.
