MMBP 4300 Bioanalytical Techniques and Instrumentation

Comparison of the most commonly used analytical methods in biopharmaceutical environments to produce and evaluate the attributes and quality of therapeutic biomolecules for human use. This course will address regulatory aspects governing the validation, proper use, and operation of bioreactors and analytical instruments operated under regulated environments governed by good laboratory practices. Emphasis will also be placed on resolving technical issues and writing documentation in accordance with the format required by agencies regulating the manufacture of biopharmaceutical products. Requires 45 lecture hours and 45 laboratory hours.
