Environmental Health and Toxicology (Post Baccalaureate Professional Certificate)
Program description
The Post-Baccalaureate Professional Certificate in Environmental Health and Toxicology is one of an interdisciplinary nature related to the study of the fundamentals of public health and environmental care through environmental health and toxicology. The purpose of the certificate is to explore solutions to problems that affect human health. It pursues the integral development of the student in the area of natural sciences by expanding their cognitive abilities so that they can perform in their area of employment with greater efficiency in tasks related to environmental health and toxicology.
The student must pass the courses with a minimum grade of B in the courses and must maintain a general average of 3.00.
The Aguadilla Campus is authorized to offer this program.

Admission requirements
The Inter-American University of Puerto Rico grants admission to its campuses for a determined time, in any enrollment period during the academic year. All candidates for admission must present documents proving their identity for authentication purposes (photo identification such as a valid passport or driver's license). Admission is valid for the academic term in which it is granted. However, the validity of the admission can be extended, at the applicant's request, for an additional period not exceeding one semester academic term or its equivalent. Those interested in belonging to this Program must be admitted to the University and meet the admission standards established in the current Graduate Catalog of the University.
Students applying for the Post-Baccalaureate Professional Certificate in Environmental Health and Toxicology must:

Have completed the graduation requirements for a bachelor's degree in one of the disciplines of the natural sciences from an accredited university with a minimum overall graduation average and concentration of 3.00.

Requirements - 15 credits
