COMP 3300 Organization and Computer Architecture
Discussion of computer organization and architecture concepts. Description of the structure, organization, behavior, function, integration, and interaction of the components of a computer system—namely, hardware, software, and data—as well as their technologies. In-depth exploration and analysis of the functioning of different processing, memory, storage, and communication components. Discussion of social, ethical, or legal issues within the discipline. Requires 45 lecture-laboratory hours.
