COMP 3500 Operating Systems
Analysis of the concepts and functions of operating systems. Description of resource management, such as processes, memory and file systems. Discussion of the administration of real and virtual memory. Analysis of concurrence, security and protection. Requires 45 hours of lecture-lab.
